There was a power outage that started yesterday. We decided to go to bunnings to get a light as we spent the night in darkness, not being able to see, with scared children. We went to the entrance to be stopped by a bunnings employee. He asked us why we were here. I said "we have come here to-" then he immediately cut me off. He said "only essential stuff" and told us to leave. I thought it was extremely rude and unprofessional, not even being able to finish answering a question that He had asked us. There were many people walking out with lights and torches (and other items) so I didn't understand why he responded that way. Now we have nothing.
Do better.
A pleasure to visit. Excellent new store and the staff were so friendly and offering to help everywhere I went! Morwell Bunnings could learn alot from this store. I would definitely recommend this store!
Lots of smiling staff, but no service.
The new Wonthaggi store is big, but they seem to have traded customer service for space.
My last 2 visits there in the past fortnight have been poor experiences. I struggled to find someone to help me locate an item. Then have to use the self service checkout, collect my own box, and pack up all the items all while 4 staff stood and watched me, while playing on their phones and smiling at me saying have a nice day 😒. Also a special didn't go through on the scanner..staff told me you need the special code that they have access to in order to get the discount...um..I'm not sure if they understood the irony!
I think I'll pay more somewhere else to get some service.
Great store I’m always there getting things. Staff are great. Only reason for low score is your stock. You really need to improve stock availability. The number of time I have to get what you don’t have from Cranbourne. The amount of times if you check on particular stock always says not available at this store. Management needs to look into this. And improve. Also your stock take on shelves, number of times wanting items and it not there. Even if I go back mth later it’s still not there. What’s the go. I would give 1 star for less stock only gave more for your great staff.
Terribly disappointing visit to this new site. Staff friendly and helpful but aisles far too narrow and very few check outs!!! Cannot pass past another trolley and if they are merchandising whole aisle shut. Extremely disappointing. Would be absolute choas in a busy weekend? Why?
Whoo Hoo. We have a full sized Bunnings now that has all the stock on site. Heaps of parking now too. Easy to get in and out-no stress.
4 months ago I was in Bunnings Wonthaggi’s new store and had the sales attendant Lisa go out of her way to help me with my purchase.
She was very polite, professional and well spoken, then when I had what I needed I went along to pay and the lady at the self serve counter was as good as Lisa. She helped me with processing the sale and had the patience to talk me through the process.
Unfortunately I didn’t ask her name.
Both are an asset to the Bunnings sales team at wonthaggi.
